The Rockport-Fulton Chamber of Commerce (RFCC) Bay Blazers and staff were joined by guests recently to celebrate a ribbon cutting for The Gnarly Marlin, 2796 Highway 35 S.
Owner Todd Hynes is thrilled to announce that The Gnarly Marlin, a casual waterfront eatery and bar, is open for lunch and dinner seven days a week.
“Our move from Lake Travis to the coast is proving to be an awesome transition as the Central Texas ties to Rockport continue to amaze us. It seems everyone has a connection to this special town,” said Hynes. “We are very excited to meet new friends and welcome them along with our long-time friends to our new gorgeous facility that boasts a spacious open-dining area, a large welcoming bar and lounge, and three outdoor patios – all with a spectacular view of the Bay!”
The Gnarly Marlin serves tried-and-true favorites including fish ‘n’ chips, cubano sandwich, ahi, burgers, lobster roll, and cheesesteak. The Marlin also serves delicious new items like a New York strip, clam chowder, a pork chop, sugar snap peas, sea scallops, and fresh shrimp caught by local fishermen. They will even cook one’s catch.
Their full bar features unique and fun cocktails, margaritas, draft beer, The Gnarly Gar’s famous Rumrunner, Pain Killer, Cross-Eyed Mary, and more.
The Gnarly Marlin is located between Cove Harbor Marina & Drystack and Cove Harbor Waterfront RV Resort, just 17 miles from Port Aransas.
They are open everyday from 11 a.m. – 10 p.m.
